Description

Give your projects an elegant stone texture: Bavafil PLA Marble/Sandstone combines the proven lightness of PLA printing with an impressive appearance. The finely incorporated dark particles create a deceptively realistic marble effect that visually conceals layer lines and gives your models a high-quality, sculptural look.

High stability: Despite the decorative particles, the material remains extremely break-resistant and durable.

Excellent print quality: Thanks to its optimized composition, the material impresses with very good layer adhesion and minimal warping tendency.
System compatibility: Our coils are AMS compatible . Furthermore, our refills are perfectly matched to common master spools and split coil systems (e.g., Bambu Lab).

Application & Hardware Recommendation:

Bavafil PLA marble/sandstone can be printed with standard nozzles from a diameter of 0.4 mm . However, to achieve a particularly uniform particle flow and minimize wear, we recommend using a hardened 0.6 mm nozzle .

PROCESSING INSTRUCTIONS

Suitable for direct drive and Bowden extruders
Printing speed 30-150 mm/s depending on nozzle temperature and layer thickness

The first layer should be 0.3mm thick to compensate for unevenness in the print bed. The first layer should be printed at 130% print width to improve adhesion.

Setting the blower fan to 100% after the first layer helps to cool the melt quickly enough on overhangs.
