Description

Our color-changing spools are the "hidden champions" of our production. They are created whenever we change colors during manufacturing. Instead of discarding this valuable material transition, we wind it up for you. The result: a technically flawless filament with a unique color change on the spool.

Availability & material properties:

The dyeing coils are available in almost all of our material classes. Each coil retains the specific properties of its base material:

PLA	Easy to print, ideal for decoration and quick prototypes.
PET-G	Impact resistant, chemical resistant and heat resistant up to approx. 80°C.
ASA	UV-stable and weatherproof – perfect for functional parts in outdoor areas.
ABS	High impact resistance and thermal stability.
Olefin	The lightweight material (density 0.92 g/cm³) with high chemical resistance.
TPU	(Rarely available) Highly flexible, abrasion-resistant and virtually indestructible.

Product details:

Quantity: 1000g net filament per spool.
Color gradient: Each spool contains at least one color change (random principle).
Quality: Identical to our regular new goods (diameter tolerance, roundness).
System compatibility: All coils are AMS-ready and fit perfectly into common multi-material systems.

Important note: The color combinations are purely random and cannot be selected. Each spool is a surprise from our ongoing production!

Suitable for direct drive and Bowden extruders
Printing speed 30-250mm/s depending on nozzle temperature and layer thickness

The first layer should be 0.3mm thick to compensate for unevenness in the print bed. Large parts should be printed with a heated print bed.
